All I can say is WOW...
What a great spectacular performance.
Firstly there was the drummer counting down for the opening of the games, there were thousands of the all in time, I was mesmerrised by them.
Then a little girl came on and sang such a sweet song.
Then for about six miles there was fireworks which looked like footprints in the sky leading to the stadium.
Then there was a massive scroll showing the history of china and dancers painting a picture through dance, we had people dancing round a ball in the air and some demontration of tai chi a sport that I have always fancied doing and never got round to do.
Watching it has made me think yes I am going to learn tai chi.
now they are showing the athletes that are compeating in the games.
The lighting the tourch will come later. |

| Oh don't get me started on the olympics! It's all fake this year, especially the opening ceremony!! |
